GRAN ALACANT

Ideally located just south of Alicante and close to the international airport, The town itself has benefited from massive investment, creating high quality residential and business communities. The investment and development is continuing, building the infrastructure to take full advantage of the town's wide sandy beaches and dunes.

This is an area where there is plenty to do for both golfers and non golfers alike, in both areas, with beaches, water sports, Safari Park, horse riding, shopping and general sightseeing all close by. There are four cities within an hour's drive - Alicante to the north, Elche to the north west, Murcia to the west and Cartegena to the south and Alicante international airport only 10 minute drive. 6 championship Golf Courses within 30 minutes drive from this property.

Gran Alacant is a mainly residential area just a few miles south of Alicante and just to the north of the traditional Spanish seaside town of Santa Pola. Nestling in the hills above Alicante Bay, there are stunning views across to the city and the castle of Santa Barbara and northwards to the Crevillente Mountains. The few miles distance to the airport make Gran Alacant a particularly good place to stay as you can be in your holiday rental accommodation in less than an hour from landing and, because it is not on the flight path, there is no aircraft noise. Gran Alacant is convenient for Benidorm, Terra Mitica and the North Costa Blanca Spain- making it a very popular resort town.

There are five good quality supermarkets and all are less than 5 minutes drive from the property, some within walking distance, as are a number of restaurants and bars.

This 4 bedroom Villa with private pool is ideally situated for those that want to get the best out of a holiday. Only 10 minutes from Alicante airport. in a quiet location and away from main roads. Less than 8 minute drive to the blue flag beaches of the Costa Blanca coast you could be settled in and enjoying your holiday before you know it.

Ground Floor

In the main area of this Air Conditioned villa you will find a dining area with two tables and chairs and the lounge area is equipped with two settee's, coffee table, glass cabinet, TV and DVD player.

The kitchen comes fully equipped with washing machine, dish washer,  fridge freezer, oven, hob, microwave. All utensils and crockery and cutlery are on hand as you would expect.

Bedroom 1, with two single beds, bedside cabinet and a built - in wardrobe. En-Suite with shower, bath, WC, bidet and wash hand basin.

First Floor

Separate bedroom which is on the roof terrace is equipped with double bed, bedside cabinet and has a (low ceiling).

Outside

6 x 3 metre swimming pool with roman steps, sun loungers, mature gardens. Large Roof terrace with table and chairs, panoramic views of the surrounding country side.

Close by and well within 10 minutes walk, you will find 4 Supermarkets, Restaurants where you can find English and Spanish cuisine. There are bars on hand for that pre and after dinner drinks with some offering nightly entertainment.

The location of this Villa is perfect for a great family holiday. Within 5 minute drive you have the choice of some of the finest beaches on the Costa Blanca.

Within 45 minute drive you have 5 Golf courses Villamartin  which has an abundance of olive trees and well placed bunkers to make it a challenging course for players of all abilities.  Las Ramblas which is a stunning, but short course and is most challenging. High trees, natural fairways and ravines feature strongly in this memorable course. Campoamor  which is situated, in two valleys with magnificent views and with a beautiful clubhouse to finish off the day. Campoamor requires a 36 or less handicap and within 20 minute drive  from this property there is La Finca Golf Course where a new clubhouse is being built to service the Spanish Open and La Marquesa, Tee times can be booked one week in advance at Las Ramblas and 3 days in advance at Campoamor

No need to bring your clubs as you can hire them at the courses. In addition you can also hire electric buggies. The courses all have eighteen holes, putting and chipping greens and practice areas. There are also cafeteria’s/ restaurants where you can unwind with something to eat and drink after your round.

For the hard to please a 55 minute drive further south will bring you to La Manga the world famous golf resort, with three eighteen hole courses to choose from. What more can the enthusiastic golfer ask for!

Please note that most have a strict dress code and require a handicap card to play.

Torrevieja has it own Water Park Aquopolies and there is also a Water Park in Quesada which is a 20 minute drive from this property.

A great day out can be had at the Rio Safari park, located on the Elche - Santa Pola road. The park has a wide range of animals on display as well as swimming pools and water slides. There are also dolphin displays to watch. Further details and prices can be had on 966 63 82 88.

Located in Benidorm, which is 40-minute drive, enjoy one of the most beautiful and fun theme parks in the world. There's something for everyone: shows, thrill rides and rides for the little ones. Come and have some fun at Terra Mitica or visit the water park at Aqualandia
