GRAN ALACANT

This is an area where there is plenty to do for both golfers and non golfers alike, in both areas, with beaches, water sports, Safari Park, horse riding, shopping and general sightseeing all close by. There are four cities within an hour's drive - Alicante to the north, Elche to the north west, Murcia to the west and Cartegena to the south and Alicante international airport only 10 minute drive. 6 championship Golf Courses within 30 minutes drive from this property.

Gran Alacant is a mainly residential area just a few miles south of Alicante and just to the north of the traditional Spanish seaside town of Santa Pola. Nestling in the hills above Alicante Bay, there are stunning views across to the city and the castle of Santa Barbara and northwards to the Crevillente Mountains. The few miles distance to the airport make Gran Alacant a particularly good place to stay as you can be in your holiday rental accommodation in less than an hour from landing and, because it is not on the flight path, there is no aircraft noise. Gran Alacant is convenient for Benidorm, Terra Mitica and the North Costa Blanca Spain- making it a very popular resort town. The town itself has benefited from massive investment, creating high quality residential and business communities. The investment and development is continuing, building the infrastructure to take full advantage of the town's wide sandy beaches and dunes.

There are five good quality supermarkets and all are less than 5 minutes drive from the property, some within walking distance, as are a number of restaurants and bars.

Gran Alacant has plenty to offer those looking for a relaxing holiday and also those looking for something a bit more active.

Night life in Gran Alacant is low key with the emphasis on good food and good wine with many bars and restaurants to choose from. Every taste is well and truly catered for, and at good prices as well. Nearby Santa Pola has a good selection of restaurants while Alicante has numerous bars, restaurants and night clubs catering for its cosmopolitan clientele.

This Spanish style villa is situated in the Altomar 1 Urbanisation The communal pool and gardens are just at the end of the road. Also within the confines of the compound there is a football/basketball court, as well as a children's play area. The villa is positioned close enough for a short walk to shops and bars. Nearby facilities include Beach, bars restaurants and Commercial centre.

This stunning 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom villa on the prestigious Altomar 1 development has views over the Alicante bay and the mountains. It is a well-equipped property, spacious and airy and can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people. The villa is in a one way street, giving a sense of space and privacy. In the main area of the villa you will find a dining area with table and 6 chairs and the lounge area is equipped with two settees, coffee table, glass cabinet, TV with UK channels, DVD player with DVDs and board cards to keep the young ones amused.

The kitchen comes fully equipped with washing machine, fridge freezer, oven, hob. All utensils and crockery and cutlery are on hand as you would expect.

First Floor

Master bedroom with double bed and a built-in wardrobe and ceiling fan. En -suite with shower, bath, WC and wash hand basin it also has its own sun terrace.

Second bedroom is equipped with two single beds, bedside cabinet, built-in wardrobe and ceiling fan.

Third bedroom is equipped with two single beds, bedside cabinet and wardrobe. Furnished to the highest quality.

Outside

25m sq. roof terrace on second floor with sun loungers, table and chairs and B.B.Q which is accessed by internal staircase and has stunning views. all the way around of the sea, plains and mountain. Front porch with table and 4 chairs and garden.

Close by and well within 5 minute walk, you will find restaurants where you can find English and Spanish cuisine. There are bars on hand for that pre and after dinner drinks with some offering nightly entertainment. And 5 minute drive there is the G.A commercial centre there are three large Supermarkets and several bars some offering nigh time entertainment, restaurants, and shops. A popular local market is held on Thursdays - again within 5 minute walk of this property, which is great for all those holiday souvenirs and presents for the family. Spend the morning strolling past the stalls, stop for the odd refreshment or two and then buy a roasted chicken from the stall and venture back home for lunch.

The location of this Villa is perfect for golfing breaks or a great family holiday. At the end of the road is the communal swimming pool and children's paddling pool with a big green park area to sit and watch the world go by and within a five minute drive you have the choice of some of the finest beaches on the Costa Blanca.

Within 45 minute drive you have 5 Golf courses Villamartin  which has an abundance of olive trees and well placed bunkers to make it a challenging course for players of all abilities.  Las Ramblas which is a stunning, but short course and is most challenging. High trees, natural fairways and ravines feature strongly in this memorable course. Campoamor  which is situated, in two valleys with magnificent views and with a beautiful clubhouse to finish off the day. Campoamor requires a 36 or less handicap and within 20 minute drive  from this property there is La Finca Golf Course where a new clubhouse is being built to service the Spanish Open and La Marquesa, Tee times can be booked one week in advance at Las Ramblas and 3 days in advance at Campoamor

No need to bring your clubs as you can hire them at the courses. In addition you can also hire electric buggies. The courses all have eighteen holes, putting and chipping greens and practice areas. There are also cafeteria’s/ restaurants where you can unwind with something to eat and drink after your round.

For the hard to please a 55 minute drive further south will bring you to La Manga the world famous golf resort, with three eighteen hole courses to choose from. What more can the enthusiastic golfer ask for!

Please note that most have a strict dress code and require a handicap card to play.

Torrevieja has it own Water Park Aquopolies and there is also a Water Park in Quesada which is a 20 minute drive from this property.

A great day out can be had at the Rio Safari park, located on the Elche - Santa Pola road. The park has a wide range of animals on display as well as swimming pools and water slides. There are also dolphin displays to watch. Further details and prices can be had on 966 63 82 88.
