We are pleased to offer this beautiful large and spacious self contained ground floor apartment for rent.  Ideally situated for those who want to get away for a quiet holiday, being a self contained ground floor apartment on a 1000sq metre corner plot with a 8 x 4 metre swimming pool and large sun terraces. 3 minute drive to the urbanisation of La Marina.

The unspoilt town and beautiful beaches of La Marina Village are only a 5-minute drive from this villa. This is an area where there is plenty to do with beaches, water sports, Safari Park, horse riding, shopping and general sightseeing all close by. Only 15 minute drive to the city of Elche and within 30 minutes drive from Alicante and two major international airports close by – Alicante 20 minutes and Murcia's San Javia - 35 minutes drive. 6 championship Golf Courses within 30 minutes drive from this property. Bounded by the beautiful Mediterranean on one side and thousands of acres of fruit groves inland. The scenery is breathtakingly beautiful and within moments you can be driving in picturesque open countryside, where you can stop and pick a fresh orange or lemon and enjoy the fabulous bounty that nature has gifted to this part of the world.

Elche to the north-west is the capital of the El Baix district and the Valencian region's third largest city in terms of population. Elche had its original location at L'Alcudia where the bust of the Lady of Elche was found, however the Moors moved the city to its current position, surrounded by groves of palm trees. Today over 300,000 officially protected palm trees in the city lend it a somewhat exotic air. These palms are evident on every street corner and can be especially enjoyed in the well-tended city park and just a short walk away in the Huerto del Cura (Priest's Garden), where a palm in the form of a seven-armed candelabra is a good example of the freaks of nature.
In the historical, old section of the city amongst the most interesting sights are the Altamira Palace, the Basilica of Santa Maria, the Moorish fortress and the Moorish Baths.

The municipal park in Elche is a wonderful place to enjoy both the sun and the shade. The park is filled with tall palms, water features, bandstands and much more. On the other side of the road is the outdoor swimming pool and the sports park where all manner of sports take place. The River Vinalopo runs through Elche and has several impressive crossing points. If you stay close to the river you are guaranteed to see the best of the sights including the Basilica, the Palacio, the Museo de la Festa and the old town market. The tourist board can issue you with a street plan that has suggested routes marked on it to ensure you get the most from your visit. All over Elche are splendid buildings with intricate stonework and a fair share of statues and monuments. Look out for the Lady of Elche. Make sure you have good walking shoes on and take plenty of water with you.

In the main living area of this ground floor apartment you will find a spacious dining area with table and 4 chairs, the lounge area is furnished with 3 - seater settee and a 2 seater settee, side board, coffee table, TV, DVD player and fireplace.

The Kitchen comes fully equipped with dish washer, fridge freezer, cooker, oven, electric kettle, toaster, microwave, Iron, utensils, crockery and cutlery are on hand as you would expect. Washing machine and Ironing board is in the adjacent utility room, which also has a WC and shower.

The Master bedroom has a double size bed, bedside cabinets, wardrobe and fan.

The Second bedroom has 2 single beds, bedside cabinets, wardrobe and fan.

Master bathroom with bath, separate shower, WC, bidet and wash hand basin.

OUTSIDE

Large front terrace with table and chairs over looking the 8 x 4 metre swimming pool with roman steps and is surrounded by spacious terraces with sun lounges, table and chairs, there is also a barbecue area.

Only a 3 minute drive from the urbanisation of La Marina which has 4 Large Supermarkets and plenty of bars some offering nigh time entertainment, restaurants and shops. A popular local market is held on Thursdays and Sundays - again within 5 minutes drive of the apartment, which is great for all those holiday souvenirs and presents for the family. Spend the morning strolling past the stalls, stop for the odd refreshment or two and then buy a roasted chicken from the stall and venture back home for lunch.

Within 15 minute drive  from this property there is La Finca Golf Course where a new clubhouse is being built to service the Spanish Open and La Marquesa Golf Course, 25 minute drive you have 3 Golf courses Villamartin  which has an abundance of olive trees and well placed bunkers to make it a challenging course for players of all abilities.  Las Ramblas which is a stunning, but short course and is most challenging. High trees, natural fairways and ravines feature strongly in this memorable course. Campoamor  which is situated, in two valleys with magnificent views and with a beautiful clubhouse to finish off the day. Campoamor requires a 36 or less handicap.

No need to bring your clubs as you can hire them at the courses. In addition you can also hire electric buggies. The courses all have eighteen holes, putting and chipping greens and practice areas. There are also cafeteria’s/ restaurants where you can unwind with something to eat and drink after your round.

For the hard to please a 40 minute drive further south will bring you to La Manga the world famous golf resort, with three eighteen hole courses to choose from. What more can the enthusiastic golfer ask for!

Please note that most have a strict dress code and require a handicap card to play.

A great day out can be had at the Rio Safari park, located on the Elche - Santa Pola road only 10 minutes from this villa. The park has a wide range of animals on display as well as swimming pools and water slides. There are also dolphin displays to watch. Further details and prices can be had on 966 63 82 88. Two very Spanish towns Santa Pola and Guardamar have some of the best beaches on the Costa Blanca again only 10 minute drive from this villa.

Torrevieja has it own Water Park Aquopolies and there is also a Water Park in Quesada which is a 10 minute drive from this property.

Located in Benidorm, which is 45-minute drive, enjoy one of the most beautiful and fun theme parks in the world. There's something for everyone: shows, thrill rides and rides for the little ones. Come and have some fun at Terra Mitica or visit the water park at Aqualandia
