There is a one off cleaning charge of 55 euros payable on arrival. For Winter lets there is additional 30 euros a week for heating. Cot and Highchair hire are also available.

The Spanish Costa Blanca (White Coast) extends along the south-eastern section of the Mediterranean coast. The Coast is made up of two clearly differentiated scenic sectors. To the North, a curtain of mountains runs parallel to the sea, descending at times to form cliffs; to the South, a vast plain of sand patches, palm trees and salt deposits make up the backdrop for the beaches.

Forests, dunes and beaches in perfect harmony inside a big virgin field, make Guardamar del Segura to be a paradise on the Costa Blanca. The town of Guardamar, with a population of just over 11,000, has historically played the role of guardian of the river Segura. Around 12 km of beach; pines; very old trees; a Mediterranean park with fountains and lakes that give life to squirrels, swans, fishes…

This lovely light and spacious apartment is just 10 minutes walk from golden sands which have the Euro blue flag for quality and cleanliness. Only 5 minutes from Marina with restaurants and bars stretching along the harbour or maybe a swim in the pool or paddle in the paddling pool. You are a 10 minute walk from Guardamar centre that is overflowing with bars restaurants street cafes and bars plus nightly market stretching along the promenade selling just about everything. Or if you prefer drinking and dancing you will never get bored Guardamar caters for everybody young and old.

Guardamar strategic position on a hill over the Vega Baja made it the ideal settlement for the various peoples that inhabited this part of Spain. Guardamar owes its very existence and livelihood to the dunes that have shaped it. Activities around the restored mouth of the river include fishing, camel rides and the Molino de San Antonio. All the local restaurants offer top-quality prawns and outstanding rice dishes, the pride of Alicante cuisine.

The prime natural feature are the dunes formed from sand deposited by both the river Segura and the sea, and blown inland by the east winds. This natural area is today the main distinguishing feature of Guardamar and it includes the Reina Sofia and Alfonso XIII parks, ideal for a leisurely stroll or for cycling. These are attractive spots for noting the local vegetation and observing the water birds that come to nest in this ecosystem, including herons and other species.

Guardamar del Segura has extensive sports facilities, the most important being the “Las Rabosas” Sports Centre and the magnificent Municipal Sports Centre, with its Olympic swimming-pool, 3 football pitches, basketball courts, five-a-side soccer pitches, tennis courts, pelota courts, covered sports. And every possible sea sport such as sailing, windsurfing, water-skiing, underwater diving, canoeing, jet skiing, etc.

The municipal Marina de las Dunas is a splendid addition for tourism in Guardamar del Segura. It is located at the mouth of the river Segura, has 494 moorings and all the services and facilities of a top-ranking marina. It also offers 2 kilometres of the new navigable river course for small boats, a risk-free place for sea sports in a unique natural environment on the eastern coast of Spain. This is the ideal place for starting out or for ending any day at sea. Because Guardamar is for living all year round.

Within 15 minute drive  from this property there is La Finca Golf Course where a new clubhouse is being built to service the Spanish Open and La Marquesa and 25 minute drive you have 3 more Golf courses Villamartin  which has an abundance of olive trees and well placed bunkers to make it a challenging course for players of all abilities. Las Ramblas which is a stunning, but short course and is most challenging. High trees, natural fairways and ravines feature strongly in this memorable course. Campoamor  which is situated, in two valleys with magnificent views and with a beautiful clubhouse to finish off the day. Campoamor requires a 36 or less handicap
and within 15 minute drive  from this property there is La Finca Golf Course where a new clubhouse is being built to service the Spanish Open and La Marquesa, Tee times can be booked one week in advance at Las Ramblas and 3 days in advance at Campoamor
